Through October 18, delicious autumn game specialties await you.
Daily from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Berghotel Engstligenalp
Hiking is as much a part of summer as the waterfalls are of the Engstligenalp. Luckily, the Engstligenalp is the starting point for breathtaking hikes. Over hill and dale, through colourful flower meadows, along streams – various (circular) hiking trails lead from or to the Engstligenalp. Whether you’re a summit stormer or a leisurely walker: discover the hiking paradise in the Bernese Oberland on foot!
By the way, mountain bikes are not allowed on the Engstligenalp – Switzerland’s largest plateau is a nature reserve. And please always remember: you are never alone on our meadows. During the alpine season, the cows here graze without any fencing. So here we are clearly the guests!
A circular hiking trail has the advantage that you always arrive back at the starting point at the end of an eventful hike – in this case on the most beautiful plateau in Switzerland. In the Bernese Oberland, circular trails for families, challenging alpine loops, routes through the nature reserve and over hill and dale await you! There are no limits to hiking.
